Position Summary

Serve as one of two primary receptionists for the Franklin College Office of Academic Advising. Receive incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in visitors and relay them to the appropriate campus resources and offices as needed. Assist students with advising appointment scheduling and other issues. Provide clerical support, assist with special projects, and maintain paper filing system and web-based appointment management system.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Thorough knowledge of office software applications, e.g. MS Office, email clients, web-based applications; familiarity with multi-line telephone system.

Answer procedural and general UGA policy questions for students over the phone, in person, or via email; direct inquiries to colleagues or other departments as needed.
