Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The Institute on Human Development and Disability/UCEDD seeks an Administrative Assistant to work with various projects within our Institute. Projects vary over time, but include the following tasks:
- Administrative and general office support.
- Data collection, creating and updating data spreadsheets.
- Data management and programmatic support for the Disability Studies Certificate Program.
- Instructional support in Disability Studies university courses.
- Development and dissemination of community education materials, including print, social media, and video materials.
- Organizing and archiving materials for the Georgia Disability History Archive.
- Ability to accurately computer-enter numerical data.
- Proficient in use of Windows Office Suite; internet and library research skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details.
- Flexibility and ability to work on multiple tasks.
- Comfort and facility with learning and using web-based platforms, databases, and systems.
- Strong writing skills.
- Lifting boxes, standing and sitting.
- Work is performed in a typical office environment.

- Data management and programmatic support for the Disability Studies Certificate Program, instructional support in Disability Studies university courses.
- Develop and disseminate community education materials, including print, social media, and video materials.
- Assist with organizing and preparing materials for the Disability History Archive, including both print and film materials.
- Keep accurate records of archived materials.
