The Child Welfare Resource Center operates in a hybrid work approach where work can be completed remotely, in the Mechanicsburg office, and in the field as necessary and appropriate.Time for this position is estimated as 5% remote work, 90% in the Mechanicsburg office, and 5% in the field.This position is in the Mechanicsburg office and requires that the employee is on location daily. A valid driver's license or the ability to travel to perform the essential functions is required.
The Administrative Assistant must be able tooperatecomputers and other office equipment; communicate effectively with management contacts as well as internal and external contacts. This position serves as theinitialpoint of contact for all inperson andtelephoneinquiries to the Resource Center. This position answers the phone, takes messages, and transfers callers; provides general information and appropriately answers customer inquiries from walk-ins, incoming calls, and emails.
This position requiresproficiencyin MS Office Suite including Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Outlook.Performs administrative support activities and department specific technical or operations duties for assigned project with some support from others; serves as liaison between internal and external partners. This position also performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry.
Experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse populations preferred. A commitment to achieving equity and inclusion in the child welfare system is a must.

Job Summary
Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.
Essential Functions

Physical Effort
Typical field travel required will be statewide throughout the Commonwealth on an infrequent basis, lift up to 50 pounds, provide room set up, move tables and chairs, be able to open and close walls and support audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations.
