Description
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for an administrative associate to provide office and activities support for the director of career and testing services and the student services division.Duties include assisting students with career services information, federal work study program and student employment network; assisting with data entry and organization of test data; assisting students with paperwork for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) funding and other programs; working in the testing center, including assisting with proctoring/administration of placement and course tests for both in-person and remote sessions; completing required annual Accuplacer and Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) test proctor certification renewals; assisting the enrollment management department with clerical duties, coverage for the student services reception desk, main switchboard and other areas as needed; posting open student worker positions, answering questions related to job openings, posting digital board signage and classified advertisements; and assisting with coordination of student services events.
Requirements include a high school diploma or the equivalent; two years of office experience; and excellent computer, organizational, human relations, and Microsoft Office skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an associate degree in office technology, secretarial science or a relevant field and bilingual English/Creole skills.

This is a full-time support staff position with excellent fringe benefits. The days and hours of work are Mon. - Thur. 9:30am - 6pm and Fri. 8am - 4:30pm. The starting hourly rate for this position will likely range from $18.82 to $23.10 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
