| Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position will include: occasional standing and/or walking with objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); and occasional (<10% of the time) job related travel to campus will be required. |

| Job Summary | The Administrative Services Asst/UKHC provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director of Healthcare Communications and the broader communications team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of strategic communication initiatives by managing complex calendars, preparing executive-level documents, coordinating project workflows, and supporting departmental purchasing and budgeting processes. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while interacting with leaders, faculty, staff, and external partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and committed to delivering service excellence in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity. |
