Required License/Registration/CertificationNonePhysical RequirementsSitting for long periods of time, reptitive motion.ShiftMonday-Friday, day shift.Job SummaryAdministrative Support Associate I needed to provide administrative support to DanceBlue KCH Hematology/Oncology Clinic Psychosocial team.Create new patient folders, package items to mail and deliver to hospital post office.
Will assist with forms and documentation, organize and prepare materials for meetings, assist with the creation of educational, informational, and promotional materials.
Clerical work including faxing, filing, managing paperwork and applications, any additional tasks requested by psychosocial team.
Manage DanceBlue Imprest Account and Procard, manage patient food voucher program, manage and stock the supply of gas cards, food vouchers, and parking vouchers, oversee ordering and organization of Beads of Courage Program, organize and manage DanceBlue patient mailing list, create and mail DanceBlue marathon packets and memorial letters, organize and maintain patient graduation list, assist with honoring patient milestones, support community organizations during patient programs.
Provides efficient services and empathy for patients and their families, communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, staff, as well as outside agencies and organizations, schedule and manage the Neuropsychological Evaluation schedule, schedule lodging for patients and families, ensure patients are accurately informed of neuropsychological evaluation appointments and lodging reservations, communicate scholarship opportunities to patients, schedule and plan for academic tutors, and maintain appropriate follow-up as needed.
Assist with clinic events and activities, create informational and promotional materials for events and activities, schedule rooms for meetings and events, promote clinic morale.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesWorks well with children, families and young adults.
