Description
Cooper University Health Care (CUHC) offers a dynamic and comprehensive Administrative Fellowship designed for recent graduates of Master's programs in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA). Candidates graduating in Spring 2027 are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is also available to students who have completed their academic coursework and are required to complete an Administrative Residency as part of their degree requirements. This one-year Fellowship provides hands-on exposure to a broad range of healthcare operations and strategic initiatives. Fellows work on both short-term and long-term projects across hospital and ambulatory operations, as well as corporate functions including finance, strategic planning, marketing, human resources, and other key areas of the organization.
Under the mentorship of two fellowship preceptors, both members of Cooper’s Senior Executive Leadership Team, Fellows engage in high-impact projects that advance the organization’s strategic priorities while supporting their individual professional growth and career development goals. Throughout the Fellowship, participants have the opportunity to explore areas of interest and contribute to multiple projects with senior leaders. This experience enables Fellows to deepen their understanding of healthcare administration, strengthen project management capabilities, and develop essential leadership competencies. Fellows collaborate closely with administrative and clinical leaders across the health system and are integrated into Cooper's leadership environment. They attend and participate in key leadership, operational, and Board of Trustees meetings, gaining valuable insight into executive decision-making and organizational strategy.
