Craig Hospital is a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital that exclusively specializes in neurorehabilitation and research for individuals with spinal cord injury and brain injury. As a 93-bed, private, not-for-profit hospital, Craig provides acute, short-term, and long-term care. Craig uses an interdisciplinary care model that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and a strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care. The Administrative Fellowship Program is a paid, two-year project and rotation-based position designed to empower graduates as they transition from academic studies to careers in health system administration. Throughout the program, fellows engage in strategic projects, professional development activities, formal trainings, and senior leadership meetings. With guidance from the Program Director, fellows are encouraged to explore mentoring relationships and activities beyond their core rotations, benefiting from a wide network of supportive leaders. Each rotation includes a senior-level director who offers feedback and guidance on ongoing projects, ensuring continuous professional growth throughout the program. Requirements

While healthcare experience is highly valued, we welcome applicants from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds who can bring transferable skills and diverse perspectives to healthcare leadership.

• Preferred qualifications include:
  • Internship, fellowship, employment, practicum, or other experiential learning within healthcare
  • Exposure to healthcare operations, administration, strategy, quality improvement, or patient experience initiatives
  • Experience within service-oriented industries that emphasize customer service, relationship building, and operational excellence
  • Leadership experience through graduate programs, student organizations, employment, volunteer work, or community involvement
  • Working knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and healthcare administration principles
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, leading initiatives, or coordinating teams

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field; OR Current graduate-level degree candidate from an accredited college or university who will complete their degree prior to the fellowship start date
• External candidates must be within 12 months of graduation from their master's degree program
• Internal candidates must be within three years of graduation from their master's degree program
