Guided by the program director and seasoned executive leaders, fellows gain invaluable insights into leading-edge areas of healthcare management. In this supportive environment of innovation, our program offers a dynamic setting where exploration is encouraged. With a wide range of opportunities to engage in various aspects of healthcare management, fellows discover and refine their interests. The Administrative Fellowship Program at Cleveland Clinic is not just a training ground; it's a platform for personal and professional growth, where you can navigate through different areas and shape your path in the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare. Program Description The Cleveland Clinic Administrative Fellowship Program is a 12-month, project-based fellowship that allows the Fellow to engage in a range of initiatives, collaborating with high-level executives and external partners. This exposure provides invaluable insights into industry trends and the complexities of healthcare delivery. Each Fellow will serve as project manager or provides project support on approximately 8-10 projects at any given time. At the end of the fellowship, the Fellow will have completed roughly 25 projects across Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, community hospitals across Northeast Ohio, family health centers and Cleveland Clinic Florida. Onboarding During the first 3-4 weeks, fellows will meet with 70 – 100 administrators, directors, physicians and executive leaders throughout the enterprise. These meetings provide perspective on the Cleveland Clinic’s system-wide operations and its unique organizational structure. The purpose of onboarding is to provide a foundation for fellows to gain experience and knowledge as well as to begin building a professional network. During this time, the Fellows are encouraged to identify areas of interest, potential project work and mentor opportunities.
