About the Fellowship: Under the mentorship of the UF Health Shands Regional President Michael Holmes, fellows are treated as members of the management team, positioned to add significant value to the organization. Over the course of this one-year program, fellows will have the opportunity to work on a wide scope of project work that includes strategic planning, project management, and operations. Fellows will also be given a well-rounded view of the hospital’s operations and patient and employee experience through shadowing. Requirements

Eligible applicants are recent graduates of a CAHME accredited MHA, MBA, or MPH program and are first time applicants to the UF Health Shands Hospital fellowship program. Required materials: - Cover letter (Addressed to UF Health Selection Committee) - Current resume - Personal statement including professional goals and expectations of the fellowship (1-2 pages) - Three signed letters of recommendation (At least 1 professional and 1 academic) - Official graduate transcript All application materials must be received in one complete packet PDF document by the application deadline and emailed to: UFHealthAdminFellow@shands.ufl.edu
