About the Job
Competitive Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shift Days: Monday – Friday
Shift Time: AM; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Department: Pediatric Neurosciences
Location: Palo Alto, California
Duration: 3-months Contract initially (potential to extend)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of Clinical Assistant or Front Desk experience
• Strong front office skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric setting (minimum of 100 patients a day)
• Outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable interacting directly with children and families

A Day in the Life

• Welcome and assist pediatric patients and their families
• Answer multi-line phone lines and route calls
• Register patients and verify insurance and authorizations
• Schedule and update patient appointments using electronic systems
• Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information
• Prepare medical records for clinical visits
• Support multiple clinics on different floors, delivering outstanding service
