Work Environment
This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your home while maintaining a professional office setup. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, collecting pertinent history and understanding their unique circumstances to formulate effective treatment plans.
- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions utilizing various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches, tailored to individual and group needs.
- Guide clients through therapeutic objectives, actively engaging in goal-setting exercises that empower them to achieve personal milestones.
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training, and team discussions to stay informed on emerging practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will support a diverse clientele across various demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Given the telehealth format, you will connect with clients from different geographical backgrounds, bringing cultural sensitivity and adaptability into your practice.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Must possess an active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont.
- Demonstrated experience working with a diverse range of clients and therapeutic settings.
- Deep understanding of evidence-based counseling methodologies and their application.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating strong therapeutic alliances.
- A self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a remote team framework.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of clinical counseling experience is preferred.
- Experience in a remote or telehealth counseling setting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Ongoing participation in continuing education related to mental health trends and practices.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
