Description
Lenoir City Animal Clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both people and pets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent client service.
This part-time position will work 2-3 weekdays per week plus a rotating Saturday schedule (approximately 2 Saturdays per month) and plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for clients while supporting the daily flow of the hospital.
What You'll Do:
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow
- Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, and follow-up care
- Maintain patient records and update client information in the practice management system
- Support veterinarians and technicians with administrative and clerical tasks
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Provide excellent customer service while multitasking in a busy clinical environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred
- Experience in a medical, dental, or other fast-paced healthcare front desk role considered
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable handling phones, scheduling software, and payment processing
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn veterinary software
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be available to work 2-3 weekdays each week and rotating Saturdays
