Work Environment
This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients through telehealth platforms. Our organization prioritizes work-life balance, offering flexible scheduling options. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with evenings and weekends free for personal endeavors. Our innovative digital systems facilitate seamless collaboration with teammates and ensure high-quality client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique goals and therapeutic needs.
- Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through virtual platforms, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
- Monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjust strategies as required, and provide ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards to protect client privacy.
- Engage in regular professional development opportunities to stay current with mental health trends and enhance your skill set.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Dare to Dream, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma-related challenges, and more. Our clients come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, providing you with a rich and rewarding environment to apply your skills and learn. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their mental health journeys, supporting them in achieving their personal goals.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related mental health field.
- Active and unrestricted LCMHC license in Vermont.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities relevant to mental health treatment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is preferred, particularly in a telehealth setting.
- Experience with crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or working with specific populations (e.g., LGBTQ+, veterans, children) is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
