Work Environment
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through a secure telehealth platform. Our telehealth facility is equipped with the latest technology to ensure efficient virtual counseling sessions. The flexible schedule aids in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify mental health issues and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs.
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions, as well as couples and family therapy, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
- Collaborate with clients to set and achieve therapeutic goals, offering support and motivation throughout their treatment process.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and staying up to date with the latest advancements in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Our clients often face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stress management. Your ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds and provide tailored support will be crucial in fostering their mental well-being.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or a relevant mental health field is required.
- An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.
- Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods and techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients.
- Capacity to work independently while also collaborating with interdisciplinary teams as needed.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical counseling setting, specifically in telehealth or remote counseling services.
- Experience working with a broad range of mental health conditions and populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy tools and technology to enhance client engagement and therapy delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
The Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor position offers an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
